Minecraft Content Creator Technoblade has Passed Away Following a Battle With Cancer

Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away after an extended battle with stage 4 cancer the family of Technoblade announced in a statement to the world and video.

Techno had previously announced that he was diagnosed as having cancer in August. Techno has been informing his followers on a regular basis about his diagnosis, and is continuing to receive treatment and creating content on YouTube.

In the video, posted on June 30, Techno's father narrated his final posthumous message titled "so long nerds" written for such an occasion. It was packed with the creator's signature dry humor and dark humor. But, it also serves as an end-of-year "thank you" to all the people who have embraced the Minecraft star throughout his career.

"Thank you all for your support of my content throughout the years. If I had another 100 lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade again every single time. Because those were the most happy years of my life." Techno said.

"I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that I made some of you laugh.  Offtopic Hut I wish you all to live long happy, prosperous, and prosperous lives because I love you guys. Technoblade out."

In his message, Techno who reveals that his name as Alex, talks about how the proceeds from merch and other "sell-out" pushes in the last year are being used to send his siblings to college, if they want to go, along with thanking his audience for providing him with such joyous moments. A slideshow of images showing him throughout different phases of his treatment are displayed on the screen.

In the aftermath of Techno's final message his father explains how he had originally had plans to write and record the video prior to his passing, but his deteriorating health and other factors kept the possibility from taking place. According to his father who wrote the message, he did so from bed and passed away about eight hours after.

"He was the most amazing child anyone could ever wish for," Technoblade's father said. Technoblade is my closest friend. Thank you to all of you, for everything.
